Pilot Medicals

Dr Abbott can certify Class 1, 2 and 3 CAA Medical Certificates.

Please ensure to book appointments within 30 days of the expiry of your medical certificate.  This will allow enough time to arrange any further tests if required etc.  Note if your medical is performed within the 30 days prior to expiry then the new certificate will be dated from the original expiry, in other words you wont lose any days!  If in doubt, just get in touch.

Remember to pay CAA for the application fee prior to attending for your medical - https://sec.caa.govt.nz/onlinepayment  Please note that this payment is for CAA and does not cover the medical performed by Dr Abbott.

Cost for Medical with Dr Abbott- generally $300-400 depending on what tests are required.

Please bring, glasses, spare glasses, contact lenses (but come with contact lenses out).

Bring photo ID (eg drivers licence, passport) and bring your pilot licence, your last medical certificate and the medical assessment report if you have it.
